The affordable housing lottery has launched for 35-10 Union Street, a seven-story mixed-use building in Flushing, Queens. Designed by A&T Engineering and developed by Wy Holding, the structure yields 45 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 14 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $73,715 to $198,250.
Amenities include covered parking with electric vehicle charging stations, bike storage lockers, recreation room, gym, elevator, package lockers, and outdoor terraces including a rooftop terrace. Residences come equipped with washers and dryers, air conditioning, patios or balconies, intercoms, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three studios with a monthly rent of $2,150 for incomes ranging from $73,715 to $146,900; four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,250 for incomes ranging from $77,143 to $165,230; and seven two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,600 for incomes ranging from $89,143 to $198,250.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than April 18, 2024.
