Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 130 East 54th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Lenox Road and Clarkson Avenue, the lot is closest to the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road subway station, serviced by the 3 train. Ann Marie Watson is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 54-foot-tall development will yield 6,036 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 754 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and 30-foot-long rear yard.
Jomo Charles is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
