New permits have been filed for a six-story commercial building at 145 Wolcott Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Located between Ferris Street and Conover Street, the lot is near the Smith-9th Streets subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. Bungalow Projects is listed as the owner behind the applications. Bain Capital and Bungalow Projects acquired the property earlier this year for $34 million.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 155,069 square feet designated for commercial space. The steel-based structure will also have five commercial loading berths and 202 enclosed parking spaces. Plans for the industrial space is to create a production studio space. Previous permits filed in 2020 called for a 15-story mixed-use building with 210 residential units.
COOKFOX is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
