Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 240 19th Street in South Slope, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 19th Street, the lot is near the Prospect Avenue subway station, serviced by the R train. Aleksandr Zaltsman of PSZ5, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 67-foot-tall development will yield 46,356 square feet, with 43,358 square feet designated for residential space and 2,998 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 36 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,204 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 19 enclosed parking spaces.

The Vilnits Group is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed this month for the four-story building on the site . An estimated completion date has not been announced.
