Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 51 Little West 12th Street in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. Located between Washington Street and Tenth Avenue, the lot is near the 14th Street-8th Avenue subway station, served by the A, C, and E trains. Jerry L. Noury under the Little West 12th Street Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 131-foot-tall development will yield 14,546 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,212 square feet. The concrete-based structure will not have any accessory parking.

Marin Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is now vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. I hope they incorporate the knight into the façade.

  2. So this is in the Meatpacking District by The Standard, does that fall within West Village?

  3. This is a prime lot. The price will be $2500/sqft or above

YIMBY, do better — Little West 12th Street is squarely in the Meatpacking District which is distinct from the West Village!

This site is a close to ideal location for a proposed 60 story tower especially if it has a high number of residential units. Hopefully such a project will be accompanied by better landscaping in the immediate area.
