Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 16 West 129th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Fifth Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, the interior lot is near the 125th Street subway station, served by the 2 and 3 trains. Etai Vardi of Blackstone Real Group LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 8,591 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 715 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 32-foot-long rear yard.
Stephen Conte of STUDIOSC Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
