108 Joralemon Street [Brownstoner]: CWB Architects is designing the two-story vertical expansion of an existing two-story townhouse at 108 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights. Enclosed with large windows and red brick-work, the single family abode will eventually span 3,500 square-feet, according to alteration permits.
810 Flushing Avenue [DNAinfo NY]: Upper Class Development LLC has acquired the deed for 810 Flushing Avenue, a one-story retail structure in Bushwick. The developer “has applied for a zoning change to build a 42-unit,” mixed-use building. Charles Mallea will design the 68-foot tall structure.
13 Grattan Street [Wall Street Journal]: The Hovivians are “planning to put up a 40,000 square-foot building” at 13 Grattan Street in East Williamsburg. Standing four stories high, the structure will feature “12-foot-high ceilings, terraces on upper-floor units and large windows to bring in natural light.”
Long Island College Hospital Complex [Brooklyn Daily Eagle]: SUNY has officially signed over the LICH campus in Cobble Hill to developer Fortis Group for $240 million. The developer can now build “as of right” and can “propose for rezoning” — it’s been previously stated there’s potential for a 50-story tower.
227 East 7th Street [EV Grieve]: Construction is wrapping up at the six-story low-rise at 227 East 7th Street in East Village. The 6-unit building is clad in brick and glass.
204 Forsyth Street [Curbed]: Developer Charles Saulson has begun excavation at 204 Forsyth in the Bowery to make way for seven stories of residences designed by Z Architecture. The 11-unit building — featuring “rhino white marble from South Africa” — is scheduled for March of 2015.
