118 Fulton Street: The Lightstone Group has filed permits to begin “foundation and super structure work” for their new building at 112-118 Fulton Street in the Financial District. Demolition has wrapped up since the last update; the 37-story residential tower is expected to be complete by the end of 2015.
542 West 153rd Street: An anonymous LLC has filed applications to begin superstructure work on a seven-story and 34-unit residential building of 29,811 square feet at 542-548 West 153rd Street, in Hamilton Heights. The lot is currently vacant; Architecture and Energy Limited is designing.
57 East 130th Street: Verse Development has filed applications to construct a six-story and five-unit residential building of 6,271 square-feet at 57 East 130th Street, in East Harlem. The lot is currently vacant; Robert Marino is designing.
Bronx:
726 Van Nest Avenue: The property owner of 726 Van Nest Avenue in Van Nest — currently a three-story townhouse — has filed applications to construct a new three-story and three-unit residential building spanning 3,447 square-feet.
Brooklyn:
53 Grand Street: Investmates Inc has filed applications to construct a five-story and two-unit residential building of 6,187 square feet at 53 Grand Street in Williamsburg. The lot is currently vacant; ND Architecture & Design is designing.
Queens:
1736 Harman Street: Applications have been filed to construct twin four-story and six-unit residential buildings of 4,894 square feet at 1736-1738 Harman Street, in Ridgewood. Demolition permits for the existing three-story townhouses have yet to be filed.
82-02 Tryon Place: The property owner of 82-02 – 82-06 Tryon Place in Jamaica Estates has filed applications to construct a two-story mixed-use building of 4,825 square-feet. Roughly split between commercial space and a single residence, the ceilings appear to be double-height, with the roof standing 41 feet up. Demolition of the existing home was approved in May.
Staten Island:
Winslow Place Development: Calvanico Associates has filed applications to construct seven single-family abodes along 10-32 Winslow Place in Annadale. Previously well-forested, suburbia continues to engulf Staten Island, and even Winslow Place was only built recently. Each home will span approximately 2,000 square feet.
60 Bedford Avenue: Calvanico Associates has filed applications to construct twin residential buildings — spanning 2,778 square feet and two units apiece, and standing three-stories tall — at 56-60 Bedford Avenue, in Midland Beach. The existing one-story home, at 58 Bedford, has yet to be demolished.
524 Greeley Avenue: Calvanico Associates has filed applications to construct two three-story single-family homes at 524-526 Greeley Avenue, in Midland Beach. Demolition of an existing single-floor structure at 524 Greeley was approved last year.
293 Poultney Street: Calvanico Associates has filed applications to construct twin residential buildings of 1,762 square feet at the lots of 291-293 Poultney Street in Midland Beach. Each single-family dwelling will span three floors; approval to demolish the previous structure at 293 Poultney was granted last year.
570 Woodrow Road: Passarelli Construction has filed applications to construct a three-story and two-unit residential building on the vacant lot of 570 Woodrow Road, in Woodrow. The wood-framed structure will clock-in at just under 3,000 square-feet.
