190 Lenox Road [The Q At Parkside]: Renderings have been posted on-site for a planned seven-story and 80-unit residential building to span the vacant lots of 186-190 Lenox Road, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. The most recent permits were filed in 2013, and Sandor Wiess — of Gelu Durus Musica — is listed as the architect.

435 West 33rd Street [Crain’s New York]: The Dermot Co. has abandoned plans for developing the vacant lot of 435 West 33rd Street — on the Far West Side — after agreeing to acquire the site from the Port Authority for roughly $115 million. The 25,000 square-foot parcel could hold a 500,000 square-foot residential building, not including additional air rights that could be tapped into.

140 Schermerhorn Street [Curbed]:  Dubbed The Boerum, a 19-story and 132-unit mixed-use building — located at 140 Schermerhorn Street, or 265 State Street, in Beorum Hill — is now rising, “with sales expected to launch in mid-November.” The Carlyle Group is developing, and Flank is designing, with completion expected in early 2016.

139 Orchard Street [Crain’s New York]: Candlebrook Properties has listed their stalled Lower East Side hotel development at 139 Orchard Street for sale. The planned 98-room hotel is being auctioned and “expects the sale price to exceed $30 million.” Permits were being renewed for construction this past summer.

The Landmark Colony [Curbed]: The Landmarks Preservation Commission has approved the redevelopment of the New York City Farm Colony abandonment, on Staten Island; NFC Associates is building out a 45-acre and 350-senior-unit campus dubbed The Landmark Colony.

6 West 28th Street [The Real Deal]: JTRE Holdings has acquired two, four-story walk-ups — spanning 6-8 West 28th Street, in NoMad — for $15.5 million; the buildings total 20,000 square feet, in addition to “30,000 square feet in unused air rights.” The developer is reportedly interested in hotel or office development, with a retail component.
