Last week, applications were filed for a four-story, 18,987-square-foot commercial building at 286 Lenox Avenue, located between West 124th and 125th streets in Harlem. A rendering of the project has since surfaced, courtesy of Harlem+Bespoke. Staten Island-based Gambino+LaPorta Architecture is behind the design. There plan includes retail space on the ground floor and office space on the second, third, and fourth floors. The rendering indicates Sephora, a French cosmetic company, may set up shop in the building, although nothing has been confirmed. An anonymous Midtown East-based LLC is the property owner. A two-story building must first be demolished.

Don’t worry about it confirms or not, because the project pick a four-story out already. (in Harlem)
Disgusting.
Just what we need in Harlem another retailer for a community that does not need a Sephora. Interesting the people in the rendering don’t look like the people who live or hang out around Lenox Lounge.
