Two Trees Management Company has announced plans to build a full-sized supermarket in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood, at 66 Front Street, between Washington Street and Main Street. The developers are repurposing the existing single-story parking garage on site as the structure for the grocery store, which will be dubbed DUMBO Market.
The 19-foot tall structure will yield 16,000 square feet of space and provide a variety of specialized services, including a full deli, butcher and seafood department, bakery, fresh produce, and fresh cut flowers.
The market will be owned and operated by the same family behind Brooklyn Harvest Market, a successful local grocery store with two locations in Williamsburg.
The Brooklyn-based firm, Dencityworks, will be responsible for the design, and the grocery store is expected to open early next year.

Re: 30 Front Street Site
The Jehovah Witnesses advertised this site as being zoned R7, which they said allowed for an 8-story building that could be increased to 14 stories with a variance. Will someone please explain how a 26-story building could have the same FAR as an 8-story building?
