New permits filed at 42-12 77th Street, in Elmhurst, Queens, call for an 8,000 square-foot community facility to replace a three-story, multi-family residence.
Following a full demolition of the existing building, the proposed four-story facility will contain an ambulatory and diagnostic treatment center. An additional 304 square feet will be dedicated to an exposed parking area designed to accommodate two motor vehicles. When complete, the building will top out at 49 feet with a total construction area of 10,870 square feet.
The area supports easy access to the subway, with E, F, M, R, and 7 trains located just a few blocks away at Roosevelt Ave-Jackson Heights, as well as a rich assortment of dining, entertainment, and retail businesses.
