Permits have been filed for the construction of four buildings at 61, 63, 65, and 67 Thompson Street in Stapleton, Staten Island. The site is four blocks away from the Stapleton subway station, serviced by the Staten Island Railway. Eric Schwimmer is listed as behind the applications.
The 48-foot tall buildings will yield a combined 16,880 square feet, with 13,980 square feet dedicated to residential use. 16 apartments will be created, averaging 874 square feet apiece, indicating rentals.
Think Design Architecture is responsible for designing the building.
Demolition permits have been filed for the existing two-story structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
