Permits filed for 2036 Webster Avenue reveal a new, four-story self-storage building coming to the East Tremont neighborhood of The Bronx.
Located on a through-block between 179th and 180th Streets, the business will replace an existing open-air parking lot which today accommodates 84 vehicles. Designed by TAO Architecture + Design, the new building will house around 38,000 square feet of storage facilities with two associated loading berths and a small parking lot.
Future tenants will most likely have access to the storage facility on both Webster and Park Avenues.
Michael Jayne of SNL Construction is listed as property owner.

Definitely gone are the parking spaces in the Bronx. With all the new buildings and new bicycles space. Hopefully things will change. More and more units. Less and less Parking. Definitely more crowded subway lines for the near future.
