Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 911 Ogden Avenue in Highbridge, The Bronx. The site is three blocks away from the Macombs Dam pedestrian bridge, which connects Manhattan with Yankee Stadium. Six blocks away is the stadium’s 161st Street subway station, serviced by B and D trains. Owner Arjon Mucejani is responsible for the development.
The 74-foot tall structure will yield 17,800 square feet for residential use. 26 apartments will be created, averaging 685 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. One parking space will be included on site. Residents will have access to a recreational room on the second floor.
Badaly Architects will be responsible for the development.
Demolition permits for the red three-story structure were filed in early April. As soon as permits are approved, construction is expected to last 18 to 24 months.
