Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 531 Tinton Avenue in Mott Haven, The Bronx. The site is three blocks from the East 149th Street Subway Station, serviced by the 6 trains. Rainbow Development is responsible for the project.
The 34-foot tall structure will yield 25,650 square feet dedicated to residential use. 34 apartments will be created, averaging 754 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Ten parking spaces and seventeen bicycle parking spaces will be included on site. Recreational space will be included on the second floor.
Rybak Architects will be responsible for the design. Their style often consists of curtain walls and masonry facades.
Demolition permits were filed in late April 2018. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

Please pardon me for using your space: Go to your details and stop at an eight-story residential building. (Hello YIMBY)
Mott Haven is expanding, can’t come up with a dumb label faux name for that area near Woodstock library? lmao
Lived here for 1 year and had to break my lease to escape. The building is poorly built. You can hear EVERYTHING the people that live above you are doing. The property manager isn’t at all helpful and doesn’t care about any poor experiences you may have while living there. Live anywhere else.
