Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 37-00 24th Street in Astoria, Queens. The site is eight blocks away from 36th Avenue subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Lin Jieng Zhang is listed as responsible for the development.

The 108-foot tall structure will yield 35,150 square feet, with 24,050 square feet for hotel use, and 3,700 square feet dedicated to a house of worship. 62 guest rooms will be created. Visitors will have access to a business center, offices and a breakfast area.

Ameriland Brook LLC will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed for the existing structure in June 2018. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Nothing that developments draw a blank, if plan and developer work together.

  2. Hotel and church. Very interesting.
