Permits have been filed for a four-story apartment building at 45-07 48th Avenue in Sunnyside, Queens. Located between 45th and 46th Streets, the lot is near the Bliss Street-46th Street subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Mark Misk, of Queens-based developers Nash Builders, is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot tall project will yield 15,000 square feet, with 4,485 square feet of commercial space, 9,375 square feet designated for residential space, and 564 square feet for community facilities. It will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 781 square feet. The steel and concrete structure will have both commercial and community facility use on the ground floor, as well as underground parking for ten cars, and a rear yard 30 feet long.
Christopher V. Papa Architects is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in summer of 2018. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
