Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 26-79 30th Street in Long Island City, Queens. Located between Astoria Boulevard and Newtown Avenue, the interior lot is less than two blocks from the 30 Avenue subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Eleni Dalagiorgou, using Dour LLC, is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 60-foot tall development will yield 11,610 square feet, with 9,671 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 805 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a penthouse, cellar, and a 34-foot long rear yard.

Jorge E Cherres of Carusone & Cherres Architects is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed late last month. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Augustness on your details. Wow! I love your communication for the project, audience as I am. (Hello YIMBY)

  2. Vanessa, You’ve gotta learn where LIC ends and Astoria begins.

    • Understandable mistake — oddly, Google Maps lists this address as being in LIC, even though everything around it is Astoria.
