Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 361 East 194th Street in Fordham, The Bronx. Located between Marion Avenue and Decatur Avenue, the interior lot is four blocks east of the Kingsbridge Road subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Alex Rakaj under the 361 E 194 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 57-foot-tall development will yield 14,700 square feet, with 11,705 square feet designated for residential space and 233 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 17 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 688 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 32-foot-long rear yard.
Badaly Architect is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed for the 1920s single-family home on the lot. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Let’s hear it for soulless thoughtless piles of bricks!
Badaly Architects “Trashing The Bronx — one building at a time.”
I only need about 250 square feet to be happy. Washer/dryer, shower, sink, toilet, closet, dresser, tv and couch. Need enough space from my couch to tv so eyes don’t hurt and coffee table. Thanks!
