Permits have been filed for a seven-story apartment building at 2512 Bedford Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Clarendon Road and Avenue D, the interior lot is seven blocks west of the Newkirk Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Shlomo Sinay of Candor Capital is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 21,941 square feet, with 17,926 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 26 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 689 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and six enclosed parking spaces.
P. Georgopoulos Architect is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not yet been filed. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

It’s amazing this old house held on as long as it did. By the way, it’s doubtful this structure will be built of masonry. Perhaps masonry-faced is what will happen.
It’s a shame tear down such a beautiful architectural building that’s been around since 19 0 1 to 1910, Just the bill one of those monstrosities of a so called building so an Some greedy land owner can line his pocket would tons of money. Is disgraceful that the neighbors don’t come together and declare East flatbush as a historic Neighborhood. That’s the only way to me to such charm and beauty of those buildings that was built around 1900 to 1910 that we will never ever to see again
