Permits have been filed for a 27-story mixed-use building at 27-01 Jackson Avenue in Hunters Point, Queens. Located between Dutch Kills Street and Queens Street, the corner lot is two blocks west of the Queens Plaza subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Also within walking distance is the Queensboro Plaza, serviced by the 7, N, and W trains. Fetner Properties under American Lion, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 336-foot-tall development will yield 151,141 square feet, with 139,891 square feet designated for residential space and 11,250 square feet for commercial use. The tower will have 139 apartments, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,006 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, retail on the ground floor, and 91 enclosed parking spaces. Parking will spread across the first three levels with units (a portion will be affordable) starting on the sixth floor.
Luigi Russo under SLCE Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
