Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 2072 Anthony Avenue in Tremont, The Bronx. Located between East Burnside Avenue and East 180th Street, the lot is one block south of the 182nd-183rd Streets subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Arben Mitaj under the 2072 Anthony LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 32,285 square feet, with 29,091 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 45 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 646 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

I don’t need a brush to scrub, see how clean your report with these details. On an eight-story residential building, just I read and understood the purpose of construction it was enough. (Hello New York YIMBY)
This is so common place now. To buy a house and tear it down to replace it with a tenement building. New York will be so over crowded. You build it and they will come. I have mixed feelings. Hate to see older we’ll kept houses as a thing. Of the past.

That particular area is getting over crowded. Finding parking is horrendous. Subway riders will soon face the dilemma of overcrowded subway platforms if it hasn’t happened already.
Will there be any affordable housing units? Please advise.
Sure if u move to the bronx? Some folks dont wanna do that. So they live manhattan closets for 1400 or 2400 a month.
