Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 207 West 140th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, the lot is five blocks north of the 135th Street subway station, serviced by the B and C trains. Michael Callaghan of NME HDFC, INC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 57-foot-tall development will yield 21,162 square feet, with 19,084 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 21 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 908 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 33-foot-long rear yard.

Aufgang Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Whole mass of people can see location in Google Maps, as well as your details that I can read and catch its center about new assign from the development. (Hello New York YIMBY)

  2. Hello, How am I able to apply for this building?

  3. The developers won’t rest until the last open space in New York is filled and the final single family home is torn down and replaced with ant colonies…. I mean apartments. After all, there are 8 billion people waiting to enter America, and when a Democrat becomes President, the gates will open to one and all.

  4. ASensibleMan you gotta follow your handle and be realistic.

Realistically, the percentage of buyers in the market for a 21000 foot home in Manhattan is small, very small. And they gotta lotta choice before they wanna live this far uptown. The city’s housing crisis isn’t going anywhere, even if Trump 2020 is a thing.

Would I rather see a magnificent Art Nouveau palace rise here? Of course! But you gotta follow your handle.

    Ya gotta be sensible.

  5. Hi how do I go about filling out an application
