Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 680 East 21st Street in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Foster Avenue and Newkirk Avenue, the lot is near the Newkirk Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Mendel Schwimmer of Rogers Builders LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 72-foot-tall development will yield 13,784 square feet, with 11,856 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 16 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Naresh Mahangu of NY Building Associates Inc is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Hello New York YIMBY: You should be proud of your job, although there are problems or obstacles that hinder you from causing stress. But I think you are happy to be a reporter.
Lovely block with bars on the windows. LOL! The location is closer to the B/Q lines at Newkirk Avenue (at E 16 St) on the Brighton line, not the 2/5 on Nostrand Ave.
lots of illegal parking cuts and an city department that does nothing
