Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 853 Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Broadway and Patchen Avenue, the lot is near the Gates Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. Yosef Beer under the JB Lexington LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 34,147 square feet, with 20,671 square feet designated for residential space and 494 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 29 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 712 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also 15 enclosed parking spaces.
S. Wieder Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
