Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 177 Palmetto Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Central Avenue and Wilson Avenue, the lot is three blocks from the Gates Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. Yisroel Greenfeld under the 177 Palmetto Apartments LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 7,277 square feet, with 5,500 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 687 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long rear yard.
MHM Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed for the unlicensed parking lot. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
