Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 599 Tinton Avenue in Woodstock, The Bronx. Located between East 150th Street and East 151st Street, the interior lot is a short walk to the East 149th subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Steve Zervoudis under the 599 Tinton LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 64-foot-tall development will yield 31,294 square feet, with 26,522 square feet designated for residential space and 852 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 35 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 757 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a 35-foot-long rear yard.
Badaly Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in early 2019 and the lot is now vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
