2437 Esplanade: An LLC has filed applications for a two-story, two-unit residential building measuring nearly 2,800 square feet at the vacant lot of 2437 Esplanade, in Pelham Gardens.
BROOKLYN:
309 Van Siclen Avenue: Filed early last year, new applications have revived plans for a four-story, eight-unit residential building measuring 5,500 square feet at the vacant lot of 309 Van Siclen Avenue, in northern East New York. Gerald Caliendo is designing.
4006 Atlantic Avenue: Filed in May 2014, follow-up applications have been filed for a three-story, single-family residence measuring 5,300 square feet at 4006 Atlantic Avenue, in Sea Gate. Basic Group Consulting is the architect, and the old single-story structure was demolished in 2013.
491 Myrtle Avenue: An LLC has filed applications for a five-story, six-unit mixed-use building measuring 5,008 square feet at the vacant lot of 491 Myrtle Avenue, in Clinton Hill. Issac & Stern is designing, and the site’s four-story predecessor was demolished in 2010.
QUEENS:
45-05 Rockaway Beach Boulevard: NYC DHP has filed applications for an eight-story, 101-unit mixed-use building measuring 93,812 square feet — including nearly 500 square feet of commercial space — at the vacant lot of 45-05 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, in Edgemere. Curtis & Ginsberg Architects is designing.
42-19 216th Street: JWC Infinite LLC has filed applications for a two-story, two-unit residential building measuring nearly 2,500 square feet at 42-19 216th Street, in central Bayside. Li Architect Associate is designing, and an existing two-story home must first be demolished.
STATEN ISLAND:
31 Prospect Street: Originally filed in early 2014, a slew of additional filings were submitted for Aria Hotel 1 LLC’s six-story, 70-room hotel measuring nearly 29,500 square feet at the vacant lot of 31 Prospect Street, in Stapleton. Christopher V Papa is designing, and the site’s two-story predecessor was removed in 1993.
