Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 550 Trinity Avenue in Woodstock, The Bronx. Located between East 149th Street and Pontiac Place, the lot is two blocks south of the Jackson Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Shimshon Grunstein under the 550 Trinity LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 49,640 square feet, with 35,710 square feet designated for residential space, 2,510 square feet for commercial space, and 557 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 52 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 686 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 16 enclosed parking spaces.
Amr Ouda is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
