Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 76 East 53rd Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Winthrop Street and East 53rd Street, the corner lot is within walking distance of Saratoga Avenue train station subway station, serviced by the 3 and 4 trains. Sam Eshaghoff’s West Egg Development in conjunction with Bobby Shamsian of Brookbridge Developers are the development team behind the application.

The proposed 48-foot-tall development will yield 9,003 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 750 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and six enclosed parking spaces.

Badaly Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in January for the single-story home on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
