Residents are now beginning occupancy at ‘BeLa’ one of the latest rental properties to debut in Jersey City. Designed by Minno Wasko Architects and Planning, the building contains 99 units and amenity spaces.
The property is located at 74 Maple Street in the city’s Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood which borders the 1200-acre Liberty State Park. As described by developer Golden Glades Capital Management, the investment represents growing interest in areas surrounding Jersey City’s downtown area where the cost of living continues to rise year over year.
One-bedroom apartments at BeLa begin at $1,996 per month. For a two-bedroom unit, monthly rent begins at $2,560. Incentives for prospective residents include up to three free months of rent.
Lifestyle amenities include a communal lounge and clubroom, a state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, and a rooftop terrace with additional lounge areas, BBQ grilling station, and clear views of the Manhattan skyline.
“We’re excited to welcome our first residents to BeLa,” said Carole Bloom, executive vice president of leasing for Halstead NJ Development Marketing, the property’s exclusive leasing and marketing agent. “The boutique, eight-story building features just 99 residences with stylish living spaces and smartly-designed amenities that complement its charming and commuter-friendly neighborhood.”
To preserve the health and safety of existing tenants and the leasing team, all building walkthroughs have been conducted virtually.
