Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 32 Schaefer Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Broadway and Bushwick Avenue, the interior lot is three blocks west of the Chauncey Street subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. Maurice Nassiri under the 32 Group LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 44-foot-tall development will yield 6,068 square feet, with 5,432 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 679 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 35-foot-long rear yard.
Raymond Nelson of Earthwise Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
