Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 308 Linden Boulevard in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Nostrand Avenue and New York Avenue, the lot is two blocks from the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. David Halberstam under the 308 Linden Boulevard LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 15,803 square feet, with 13,328 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 18 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 740 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 45-foot-long rear yard.
Shawn E. Stiles of S&S Architectural Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits for an existing residential building were filed in October. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Unsafe area.
It won’t be once they gentrify tf out of the area.
Why is un safe area?
I don’t know with is unsafe when crime happens everywhere this is an heavily Caribbean-based and African-American community. Leave it as it is they’re turning Brooklyn into something that’s not inviting for the people who already live there. Why coming to a neighborhood build something to make it better but not for the people who live there gentrification is so real
