The affordable housing lottery has launched for 770-774 Lexington Avenue, a four-story residential development in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Jeffrey Sandor Orling Architect, the 9,887-square-foot building will yield ten units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $76,972 to $159,640.

Residential amenities include a fitness center, co-working room, and a shared laundry room. Units include dishwashers and hardwood floors.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are two one-bedrooms with a $2,245 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $76,972 to $133,120 and four two-bedrooms with a $2,710 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $92,915 to $159,640.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 26, 2021.

  1. There is nothing affordable for a hard working mother of three in a pandemic about this. How you all fix your mouths to say affordable this is only affordable people that have no problem having roommates to which they either know or not. I for one will be damn to put my children in a situation where either the person is a child predator, rapist or serial killer shacking up with us, oh and to top it off you can trust family either. So go back to your drawing boards and rethink what you all label affordable and to whom. Stop putting these mislabeled affordable apartments on sites

  17. The amount is definately not for individuals under an income of $77k. Long range process brought to fhe Forefront to make sure A Certain group of people Can’t afford to live in the complex. Affordable for Who? Not the people that has lived in the area for years, and love their Community. The Most High Sees All.
