Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 1324 49th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between 13th and 14th Avenues, the interior lot is one block east of the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the D train. Martin Taub is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 6,396 square feet, with 5,196 square feet designated for residential space and 1,200 square feet for community facility space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 649 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, mezzanine, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Asher Hershkowitz is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
