53 West 53rd Street [New York Times]: The interiors of the planned 1,050-foot-tall, 140-condo-unit skyscraper — dubbed 53W53 and located at 53 West 53rd Street, in Midtown — are being simulated at on off-site facility in Brooklyn. Excavation is currently underway on-site of the Jean Nouvel-designed tower, and Thierry W. Despont “is crafting the interiors.”
3595 Broadway [Harlem+Bespoke]: Façade installation is nearing completion at 3595 Broadway, in Hamilton Heights, where Columbia University is constructing a 12-story, 43-unit mixed-use building measuring 63,645 square feet. MAP is designing, and completion expected in 2016.
22-43 Jackson Avenue [The Real Deal]: The owners of the 17,000 square-foot site at 22-43 Jackson Avenue, in Long Island City, are “asking $29 million” for the development site. Nearly 76,000 square feet of building potential exists, and a single-story structure currently occupies the lot.
12 Warren Street [Tribeca Citizen]: Renderings have surfaced for the 12-story, 13-unit residential building being constructed at 12-14 Warren Street, in Tribeca. Technically an expansion of the former five-story building, the building appears to be nearing topping-out; DDG Partners is developing.
9-02 38th Avenue [Commercial Observer]: Riverbrook Equities has revealed renderings of their planned 13-story, 111-key hotel to measure nearly 38,300 square feet at 9-02 38th Avenue, in northern Long Island City. “A $14 million construction loan” has been provided, and the site’s two-story predecessor was demolished last year.
11-35 45th Avenue [The Court Square Blog]: Murray Park North — a six-story, 39-unit residential building located at 11-35 45th Avenue, in Long Island City — has topped out, and façade installation is now imminent. Completion can be expected in early 2016.
