The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1973 Daly Avenue, an 11-story mixed-use building in West Farms, The Bronx. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Camber Property Group, the structure yields 123 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 47 units for residents at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $42,995 to $77,340.
Amenities include outdoor areas, a shared laundry room, gym, recreation room, lounge, bike storage lockers, security guard, and a community center. Units come with name-brand appliances and finishes, air conditioning, and hardwood floors.
At 60 percent of the AMI, there are 24 studios with a monthly rent of $1,254 for incomes ranging from $42,995 to $57,300; 14 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,343 for incomes ranging from $46,046 to $64,440; and nine two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,611 for incomes ranging from $55,235 to $77,340.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 8, 2021.
