Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 134 Vanderbilt Avenue in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Myrtle and Vanderbilt Avenues, the lot is within walking distance of the Clinton-Washington Avenues subway station, serviced by the G train. Sebastian Mendez of Tankhouse Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 45,638 square feet, with 42,479 square feet designated for residential space and 3,159 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 26 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,269 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have two cellar levels, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 18 enclosed parking spaces.
Kane Architecture and Urban Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
