Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 1206 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Utica and Rochester Avenues, the lot is one block from the Utica Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, and 4 trains. Vadem Brodsky is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 73-foot-tall development will yield 18,040 square feet, with 15,778 square feet designated for residential space and 2,262 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 18 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 876 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and two enclosed parking spaces.
Baobab Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June 2021. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
