Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 47 Diamond Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between Driggs Avenue and Nassau Avenue, the lot is a short walk to the Nassau Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Daniel Kaykov of Giron Contracting Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 48-foot-tall development will yield 13,321 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have nine residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,480 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Paul Lombardi of Design Studio Associates is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
