Ridiculous prices
Affordable housing
1 bedroom 2,900..2 almost 4,000$
Are you kidding who?
This is for the wealthy rich people
Yes it is, and it tells you that in the article. It clearly states that it’s for the Pre and Post upperclassmen.
here we go again.
This is a sad joke for all low and middle income nyers to call this AFFORDABLE HOUSING?!
This is INCOME LINKED HOUSING and only affordable to upper income people not the low income and middle income people who need this housing.
This is a taxpayer subsidy for millionaire developers.
What a joke.
421A is dead so this has stopped
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five studios with a monthly rent of $2,960 for incomes ranging from $101,486 to $138,840; nine one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,168 for incomes ranging from $108,618 to $156,130; and one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,793 for incomes ranging from $130,046 to $187,330.
So they build 15 units of INCOME LINKED HOUSING at 130% AMI and the millionaire developers get a taxpayer subsidy from 421A
What a joke!

Is this a joke? Affordable housing? At $3200 a pop for a 2 bedroom apt. Author of this article is out of touch with NY’ers. Is that affordable then we are in serious trouble, I’ll stay ay my place nice and happy in Queens
What do you think modern 2 bedrooms go for on the UWS? Quickly 2/3x that. I do find it absurd that the building only has units for people making six figures but let’s not pretend sixfigures is rich in manhattan
