Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 43-05 Crescent Street in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 43rd Avenue and 44th Road, the lot is near the Queensboro Plaza subway station, serviced by the 7, N, and W trains. Weitao Shi of Central Realty LIC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 119-foot-tall development will yield 26,913 square feet, with 26,713 square feet designated for residential space and 200 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 39 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 684 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.
INOA Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the building on site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
