33-19 Broadway [Queens Gazette]: John Arvantis has planned a four-story, five-unit mixed-use building at 33-19 Broadway, in central Astoria. The former three-story building is currently being demolished, and completion is set for 2016.
210 Pacific Street [Brownstoner]: Revealed last October, Nava Companies’ seven-story, 10-unit residential building at 210 Pacific Street, in Beorum Hill, has since topped out and is now receiving façade. SBLM Architects is designing, and the building will meet Passive House standards.
175-42 Hillside Avenue [Brownstoner]: The 10,000 square-foot parcel at 175-42 Hillside Avenue, in Jamaica, has been acquired recently for $2.85 million. The development site boasts “a grand total of 40,000 buildable square feet.”
500 Metropolitan Avenue [Brownstoner]: Foundation is being poured at 500 Metropolitan Avenue, in Williamsburg, where Chetrit Group has planned a 14-story mixed-use building that will contain 59 apartments and 188 hotel rooms. Kutnicki Bernstein is designing.
250 South Street [Bowery Boogie]: Pile driving is in full force at the site of Extell Development’s planned 72- and 15-story mixed-use development located at 250 South Street, in Two Bridges. The project will bring 790 residential units to the Lower East Side, and completion is slated for 2018.
487 West 129th Street [Daily News]: A development site valued at $40 million, located at 487 West 129th Street, in Manhattanville, has hit the market. A developer could demolish the existing low-rise structure and build a residential project of “up to 150,000 square feet.”
