Othership, a health and wellness brand, will soon bring a bathhouse and spa to 25 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The new bathhouse will occupy 6,168 square feet and is the company’s inaugural Brooklyn location.
When complete, services will include guided sauna and ice bath experiences with a focus on emotional wellness and a growing community of sober-curious adults.
“As the needs within our community are ever evolving, we continuously strive to curate a creative tenant base to best serve those growing needs, with the addition of Othership providing a vital outlet of emotional wellness to Williamsburg,” said Elyssa Marcus, vice president of asset management and acquisitions, Rubenstein Partners. “We look forward to serving as Othership’s first Brooklyn operation as we continue evolving the dynamic ecosystem of businesses at the building.”
Developed by Rubenstein Partners, the eight-story building is the first commercial office development to be completed in North Williamsburg in more than four decades. The building was designed in collaboration by architects HWKN Architecture and Gensler and comprises roughly 500,000 square feet of Class-A commercial space. The stepped massing of the structure incorporates a series of large terraces and unobstructed news of the Manhattan skyline.
Newmark represented Rubenstein in the deal, and CBRE negotiated the ten-year lease terms on behalf of Othership. The project team has not revealed renderings for their Williamsburg outpost.

Why is this on newyorkyimby? Product placement? This doesn’t seem like it should be covered, especially when you’re not covering so many new developments popping up.
