Renderings from OPerA Studio Architecture are the first to reveal a new condominium building at 222 North 8th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. When the project was initially filed with the Department of Buildings, WSQ Global was the project’s developer.
Since then, SGMC CARMICHAEL LLC, an anonymous entity with a registered address in West Hollywood, California, purchased the site and is leading the development. The latest plans specify the construction of a 4.5-story building with four spacious units. The most premium units include a triplex unit on the lower levels and a duplex penthouse with a roof deck.
The front façade of the building will feature vertically aligned gray brickwork, large trapezoidal windows on the ground floor, and a simple punched window system above. The rear of the building features a drastically different façade with gray metal framing and floor-to-ceiling windows on each story.
The rear garden level will also feature a small patio and pool, set behind stairs that descend to a communal game room and lounge.
The project team has not announced when the building will open for occupancy.

They forgot to render the garbage cans out front.
David in Bushwick thanks for that insightful critique. There is garbage storage in the cellar. Code required for multi-dwellings.
