Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 844 Bedford Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Park Avenue and Myrtle Avenue, the interior lot is near the Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues subway station, serviced by the G train. Joel Weiss of Empire Management is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 11,184 square feet, with 9,890 square feet designated for residential space and 1,293 square feet for commercial space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 989 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
