The affordable housing lottery has launched for 90 Liberty Avenue, a four-story residential building in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by A&T Engineering and developed by Dianping Chen, the structure yields eight residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $61,715 to $218,010.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies, air conditioning, hardwood floors, and name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes. Select units have balconies. Tenants are responsible for electricity, heat, and cooking gas.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $1,800 for incomes ranging from $61,715 to $181,740; one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $2,200 for incomes ranging from $75,429 to $218,010; and one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $2,300 for incomes ranging from $78,858 to $218,010.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 30, 2024.
