Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 836 East 34th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Glenwood Road and Farragut Road, the lot is near the Newkirk Avenue-Little Haiti subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Matine Duroseau is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 7,019 square feet, with 6,592 square feet designated for residential space and 427 square feet for community facility space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 877 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Jeon Consulting is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed last month for the structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
