Located between Melrose Avenue and Elton Avenue, the lot is near the 3 Avenue-149 Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Yoel Kahan of HSK Management Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 6,297 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 10 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 629 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a penthouse and a 35-foot-long rear yard.
Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
